This paper focuses on the translation methods of onomatopoeia in the English version of The Last Quarter of the Moon, exploring the role of onomatopoeia translation in conveying meaning. Through the analysis of relevant cases, this paper summarizes the direct transliteration method, fuzzy processing method, and the supplementation method in the translation of onomatopoeia in the English version. It examines how these methods convey the musicality and sense of action present in the original work, aiming to assist readers in the target language to better understand the original text.
