By analyzing the current situation of Chinese reading teaching in primary schools, corresponding improvement measures are proposed to enhance the reading ability and interest of primary school students. This article adopts various research methods such as literature review, case analysis, and survey questionnaire to conduct in-depth discussions on the teaching of Chinese reading in primary schools. The research results indicate that there are some problems in primary school Chinese reading teaching, such as a single teaching method and a lack of interesting reading materials.
